Living Dangerously

As Muldon asks Gennaro "Like to live Dangerously ? " in Michael Crichton's best seller Jurassic Park, a shiver runs through my spine. Tomorrow is my Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination, and here I'm working on the computer. Surely, isn't this living Dangerously.

WinHEC 2005 is due tomorrow, So I'll be following it through Paul Thurrot's WinSupersite.
Here's the link http://www.winsupersite.com/reviews/winhec_2005.asp

Also, I may buy Rise of Nations tomorrow. This game is the one I've been waiting for eons.

Wish me good luck !

I was reading something funny this noon (Yeah! Great. We now know how you are preparing for the famous Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination. Thank You God and You too Blogger ) when I found this kicking in:
Ronald Regan, the elegant of all US Presidents to this date, once said the story of a Russian who went to buy a car to the journalists surrounding him.

The Russian went into the Government office and booked the car. The official gave him an acknowledgment receipt and asked him to come 10 years from that date. The Russian however showed no signs of concern. He politely asked the official whether he was expected to come in the forenoon or afternoon. The official was taken aback and asked him why he was being so concerned of a date which had no intention of coming a bit earlier. The Russian promptly (and politely) replied that the Water Authority has also asked him to meet them on the same day and the meeting was at forenoon.

Obviously this piece of joke was highly far fetched and exaggerated, but it severely criticizes the Communist policies of Russia. As we all know, Regan himself took a strong standing against Communism.
