A celebration called Vishu

Today is the eve of Vishu. A festival celebrated in Kerala, India to comemmarate the victory of good over evil.In order to dispel darkness, we light crackers and other fireworks and celebrate a joyous day!The function begins early morning by seeing 'kani'. A particular arrangement of those things which, we believe,would bring goodness into the home.Then the elders give the younger ones 'Vishu Kaineetam'.Something that is valuable!! Then a long hour of joyous fire cracking and lighting begins!!!
All preparations are underway down stairs!!
By the way, All India PM Entrance results came today. No one got selection from Wadakanchery!!
My rocket launching today was okay. The rocket christened "Sky Conqueror 1" Ruled the skies high. Yahoo!But I got people smirking about my back for christening common rockets.
