Abstract Realities
I know not what to do,
As the world stares at me.
Calling me names and praising;
For things I’ve never done.
They call me a know-all,
But never in my life was I.
What to do, what to hope
As darkness glances at me.
I’m a failure this year
But never so again.
Hopes renewed and improved,
I’ll struggle again.
And if you found me again
Lost in the darkness,
I’ll rise again, conquer again,
Keep memoirs anew.
Through the boulevard I walked,
Of memoirs of my past.
Never again, never again
Will I stand this…
As the world stares at me.
Calling me names and praising;
For things I’ve never done.
They call me a know-all,
But never in my life was I.
What to do, what to hope
As darkness glances at me.
I’m a failure this year
But never so again.
Hopes renewed and improved,
I’ll struggle again.
And if you found me again
Lost in the darkness,
I’ll rise again, conquer again,
Keep memoirs anew.
Through the boulevard I walked,
Of memoirs of my past.
Never again, never again
Will I stand this…
